Appropriate use

FAST PORTAL ISB is a utility for FAST School of Management students and staff to view the timetable, academic calendar and related campus information. Use it only for its intended purpose.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password confidential. Your application account and password are separate from your university account and are never used to access university systems.

Accuracy of submitted information

Information you submit, including Lost & Found reports and your profile, should be accurate and genuine to the best of your knowledge.

Lost & Found acceptable use

Lost & Found is intended strictly for genuine lost and found items on campus. Do not use it for buying, selling, advertising or any purpose unrelated to reuniting people with misplaced items.

Find FASTians and connection requests

Find FASTians is intended for genuine academic, course-related, study, project, society, campus-related and similarly appropriate connections between FSM peers. Select an accurate purpose when sending a request.

Anonymous requests and mutual identity disclosure

You may choose to send a connection request without disclosing your identity. Anonymity applies to what the other person sees, not to your accountability to the platform: your account remains associated with the request for authorization, abuse prevention and moderation.

Identities are revealed to one another only after both connected users explicitly agree. Attempting to identify an anonymous user outside the platform, or pressuring them to disclose their identity, is not permitted.

Prohibited content and conduct

Do not submit content that is abusive, fraudulent, misleading, explicit, illegal or otherwise inappropriate, including in photographs, descriptions or contact details.

In connection requests, messages and profiles, do not engage in harassment, spam, unwanted or repeated contact, impersonation of another person, stalking, sexual or romantic solicitation, or collection or misuse of another user's personal information.

Harassment and abuse

Using contact details, messages or connections made through this platform to harass, threaten or abuse another person is prohibited and may result in removal of access.

Blocking and reporting

You may block another user or report behavior that violates these terms. Reports are reviewed with account-level information retained for moderation, even when a person appeared anonymous to the reporting user.

User-submitted content and image uploads

You retain ownership of content you submit, and you are responsible for it. Uploaded photographs must relate directly to an actual lost or found item and must not contain third parties or unrelated material.

Content removal and account restriction

Content that violates these terms may be removed. Repeated or serious misuse, including of connections, anonymous requests or messaging, may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal of access to the service.

Platform availability

This platform is provided on an as-available basis. Timetable data, features and availability may change without notice.

No guarantee of recovery

FAST PORTAL ISB does not guarantee that a lost item will be found or that a found item will be returned to its owner. For valuable or sensitive items, also contact the relevant university office directly.

Privacy

Only share the contact information you are comfortable making visible to other users through your Lost & Found reports. Avoid including sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to resolve a case.

Changes to the service and these terms

The service and these terms may be updated over time. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
